| Name: Phèdre no Delaunay Hair: Sable brown Eyes: Bisque with a red mote in her left eye Bio:Born to Pierre Cantrel and a Jasmin house Adept named Liliane de Souverain, Phèdre 's earliest memories were of traveling and foreign lands. When she was but four, financial strains forced her parents to send her to Cereus House because her unusual eyes and pale ivory skin made her ineligible of fitting Jasmine House's very strict canon. Growing up in Cereus house, Phèdre felt alienated because of the scarlet mote in her left eye and the fact that she didn't quite fit Cereus House's canon either. It was only when she was seven that Phèdre came to understand where she would fit into the world. Stabbing herself on a pin, she got her first experience with both pain and pleasure. The Dowayne initially thought to sell her Marque to Valerian house where their adepts were known for finding pleasure in pain. Instead, she summoned Anafiel Delaunay who at first was disinterested in Phèdre . Only when the Dowayne looked into Phèdre 's eye and saw the scarlet mote did he realize what the girl was. She was marked by Kushiel himself and that the distinctive mote in her eye was known as Kushiel's Dart, the sign that he'd chosen this particular mortal to be an anguissette who through their subjugation would bring back balance into the world. Naming her as such, he bought Phèdre 's marque for an exorbitant sum of money. Phèdre was fostered in Cereus house until she was ten however so that she might receive training in the courtesan arts. During her last winter in Cereus house, Phèdre served at the annual Midwinter Masque and that was where she met Melisande Shahrizai. Instantly, she was drawn to Melisande though she did not realize at first it was because she was from the line of Kushiel. The anguissette inside of Phèdre however recognized the line of cruelty inside the Shahrizai woman and it made her tremble inwardly. Eventually however, she moved into Delaunay's household and that was when her true destiny was revealed. Anafiel trained her and her adopted sibling Alcuin in the arts of intrigue and how to absorb every detail in their surroundings and to report it back to him. In short, he trained them to become spies and spies they became all out of love for Anafiel. Disclaimer: Mun and Character are both over the age of 18.
